Living at Dad and Diane's

The kids are in heaven living at Grandpa and Nana's house.  They think it's a vacation!  We ended up moving out earlier than expected (almost by 2 weeks).  Our buyers begged us to move in early and pay us rent.  They didn't have anywhere else to go.  I felt really bad for the kids.  Their last day of school was on a Thursday, we found out that we were moving that night.  So I took off work and we spent all of Friday, Saturday and Sunday moving into Dad and Diane's.  Steve Gockley was wonderful and came and helped us with the moving truck on Saturday.  It took 2 loads to get our furniture over there.  We were able to fit everything in one side of their garage.

We initially had the kids sleeping in the sun room.  That only lasted a week.  It was so BRIGHT in there (I know) that the kids would not fall asleep.  They are used to a 7pm bed time which wasn't happening.  They have been so overtired we needed to do something.

We moved them into the basement and covered the windows with the extra mattresses.  It is so dark down there...it is wonderful!  They go to sleep pretty easy now - which is amazing since they are all in the same room.  Plus it is a lot cooler downstairs too.  They have even slept in past 7am some mornings.
